TERMS AND CONDITIONS

 

BOOKINGS

All bookings are subject to a receipt of a deposit, the value of which will be specified at
the time of booking. The balance of the accommodation must be paid to Sun & Golf at
least 6 weeks prior to arrival.

For late bookings, ie, those made within 6 weeks of occupation, full payment will be
required to confirm the reservation.

We reserve the right to decline a booking.

 

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by transfers directly to our bank account or credit card. Credit
card payments are processed via Paypal and are charged a fee of 2.5% - 4%
accordingly.

All payments received and monies due for services booked will be set out in your
confirmation. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all monies due are paid by the
due date on the confirmation account. Failure to pay monies by the due date will result
in services booked being cancelled with the loss of any payments already received.

 

CHANGES TO YOUR BOOKING

Any change to the booking details after receipt of confirmation are subject to
availability.

 

CANCELLATION POLICY

All cancellations must be notified to Sun & Golf in writing by the lead passenger. In the
event of a cancellation, we apply the following scale of cancellation charges to the
rental cost:

Up to 42 days – loss of deposit

42 – 29 days 50%

28 – 15 days 75%

14 – 1 day 100%

No refund will be made to clients vacating the property prior to the expiry of the
reservation.

 

COMPLAINTS

If you have cause for complaint this must be brought to our attention as soon as it becomes
apparent so that appropriate action can be taken at the time to rectify the problem or issues.

No liability can be accepted whatsoever where this procedure has not been followed,
as we have been deprived of the opportunity to investigate and solve the problem
during your stay.

 

BREAKAGES

On arrival guests may be required to pay a €250,00 breakages deposit, or leave a credit
card imprint for this value.

Any breakages or damages should be reported as soon as they occur so they can be
rectified prior to the arrival of the next guests. Subject to the deduction (where
appropriate) of any breakages or damages deposits will be refunded.

Sun & Golf reserves the right to terminate the holiday of any guests behaving abusively
to fellow customers or staff.

 

HOLIDAY INSURANCE

We thoroughly recommend you take out insurance for all party members covering
cancellation charges and emergency assistance, including repatriation in the event of
an accident or illness.

 

SMOKING

Smoking is not permitted inside any of our properties.

 

PETS POLICY

Pets are not allowed in any of our properties.

 

SPECIAL REQUESTS

We will endeavour to accommodate special requests, however these can not be
guaranteed or accepted as a condition of the booking.

 

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE TIMES

Check in is from 16h00 on the day of arrival and 10h00 on the day of departure.

As the majority of our bookings during the summer months are arrival and departure
on the same day it is imperative that these procedures are followed at all times.

 

OCCUPANCY

All of our properties are fully licensed by the authorities therefore it is a condition of the
booking that the maximum number of occupants does not exceed the total the property is
advertised as occupying. We reserve the right to remove the property without refund to any
guests not adhering to this procedure.

 

RESORT FACILITIES

Your booking is direct with Sun & Golf, therefore use of any resort facilities are subject to the
appropriate charges as levied by Parque da Floresta and/or Vigia resorts. The golf discount for
guests staying at Parque da Floresta is 40%, however, this must be applied for prior to your
arrival for the relevant discount cards to be available.

For those guests staying at Quinta da Encosta Velha the swimming pools on that phase only
are free to use during your stay.
